Summary
As Lead Engineer, you will be overseeing the whole software development process as well as operations at Experify. You will collaborate with (currently) two senior software engineers and will be tasked to extend the engineering team. You will be taking over this role from one of the co-founders, who will focus 100% on his CEO tasks.
Currently, the Front End of our application runs in Angular. Given the small team size, we embraced a no-ops approach with a completely serverless architecture based on GCE, Firebase and Elasticsearch.
Role and Responsibilities
You will be joining Experify as one of its first employees. At this early stage, everyone on the team plays a crucial role.
As Lead Fullstack Engineer you will:
- take ownership of the whole software development process, operations & analytics
- lead & grow the engineering team (currently 2 senior developers, +3 within first quarter 2022)
- tightly collaborate with and enable the Product Team to rapidly iterate
- ensure stability and scalability
- enable data-driven product decision (analytics)
This is not a mere leadership role. You are expected to contribute hands-on wherever needed. As Lead Engineer, your time allocation will be approx. 60% hands-on software development and 40% operations & leadership.

- 10+ years professional experience in full-stack development
- 5+ years experience with Angular
- 3+ years experience with no-ops, serverless architectures (GCE a plus)
- team lead experience

- you want to grow into a predominantly leadership-oriented role (CTO)
- your timezone should be GMT +/- 3.
